Sorry Petra, missed this. For sure I will later :)

Your photos are good, and the forum building I liked so much, was literally next door to the hotel I stayed in when in Barcelona, our room overlooked it and the sea even, was very interesting. Its room is actually a pond, looks crazy, but at the nights from the higher buildings, the setting sun refelects off it and causes it to glow, very cool effect.

Tnx :D i am more into old old complexed story connected things and know much more about them then modern ones, so cool u will do it when grab the time:)

Forum building is fascinatinggggggg, i saw them kinda in a rush as was in lack of time so just told my barca friend to take me to the modern stuff and literaly drop me out to see it a bit and take pics lol, so we did it one day for few h, was crazy as was rainy suny day ... later went to Montjuic and Miro, didn't have time for the Pavilionnnn, don't kill me, i have a feeling it's your fav coz of it's simple shapes each architect d like.
Next time definitely. I chosed Miro as he is one of my fave artists.

Also am sad i couldn't see all these modern buildings during the nite, i heard it's niceeee + the effect u said about. Damn, i wanna go back !!

Some more:

Frank O. Gehry: Peix d'or & Hotel Arts, Vila Olimpica, commisioned for the Olimpics in 1992. The sculpture of the fish looking to the sea is made of stone, steel and glass with its shiny metal plates changing colour depending on the sunlight :D

I think Gehry did Guggenheim in Bilbao, ahhh love his creativity and that piece of art :D :D

Rebecca Horn - Barceloneta beach tower - L’Estel Ferit - meaning 'the wounded star or the injured comet' (ohh what a name  love this tower, such a romantic touch), commissioned for the Olimpics too.It conjures up images of an old lighthouse which is no longer in use or needed. The sculpture consists of four steel cubes stacked one above the other. The material used is iron, glass and light on a big concrete base which makes a 2.4 metre high tower. Inside the bottom cube are sea related things that are lit up at night.
