He's a second striker, bro should just accept that and stop wasting time with the midfield/winger shifts, he's not built for either role as he lacks the stuff to make it in those positions.
Although that's easier said than done considering City just splashed 80m on Marmoush who is also a second striker, I give him 2 more seasons at City before he leaves![]()
He has been a complete and utter fraud for the National Team. The worst performing big name from this generation.Tuchel said he sees him as a #9½ and I think that's probably right. For England he will probably be backup for Kane more than Bellingham or Rogers.

He was played in lots of different positions under Southgate tbf and never really performed other than the last World Cup, where he was on the left.Been played as a left winger by Clowngate. While Foden still should have performed better at times, it's always been clear to everyone else that Foden needs to be played centrally. I know he's played off the left for Man City a lot at times but that's under Guardiola, not Southgate, and England play nothing like City.
He's also had the odd good game that people never seem to acknowledge or remember. He was the best player on the pitch in the Euros against Netherlands until England inevitably sat back in the second half and he had much less of the ball.

It's not like Foden has had a long run of playing in the #10 for City either. He's never had a run of games in his best position. It's like putting Declan Rice on the right wing. None of Foden's strengths are suited to playing anywhere other than centrally. Whether he deserves to start as a 10 under Tuchel ahead of Palmer, Bellingham and Rogers though is another debate.
