Brazil coach Tite revealed that Coutinho gained 4 kilogram of muscle mass at Bayern. Overall he weighs 5 kilogram more than a year ago.

Yah , no surprise the guy is alot stronger on the ball and at times just straight up bodies players.

Gained 4lb of muscle in Bayern? What was he doing here then? It's safe to say that not only our medical staff are a bunch of donkeys, probably got the job by being Barto relatives, but fitness coaches are also the same, or just oldheads that stopped learning their craft ever since they got hired 25 years ago.

The players are also to blame. At Bayern you are part of a collective that works hard and that is what makes you wanna push yourself to keep up and meet the standard guys like Lewandowski, Goretzka and so on impose for themselves. At Barca, you are surrounded by players who work much less and think they're so amazingly talented that they'll win regardless.

In team sports, the locker-room is important. Lazy locker-room will bring almost anyone down. Powerful squad with hard working mentality will do the opposite, improve the work ethic and drive of every player (except the bums that are totally helpless).

Not 4lb - 4 kilogramms...

Bayern's fitness coach: https://www.medicalschool-hamburg.de/en/about-msh/our-team/team-faculty-of-health-sciences-university-of-applied-sciences/faculty-of-health-sciences-university-of-applied-sciences/holger-broich/

In difference to former coaches Flick is leaving him a free hand. But I guess it is the fight for places and an overall mentality in the team, too. And captains in the team who emphasize the team character and live it.

4ks of muscle is an incredible difference. I'd send them Puig. I reckon that would be the ultimate test for their fitness staff.

You guys are hyping up the muscle mass gain so much. He was shit in Bayern and subsequently benched, and he's "good" now because our midfield options are shit. No offense but he just isn't and never will be good enough to warrant a team to be built around him. It's fucking Barcelona and we're playing with a shit double pivot to accommodate a player of his talent. I fucking expect Zidane level of performances if we're trying to accommodate you, but all we get is drop of shoulders and failed cut inside shots. Like jesus, somebody in Barcelona just fucking wise up already and sell these hybdrid players. They're fucking killing us.

He was our best midfielder up to this point and Koeman plays him on the wing in El Clasico.

This club deserves its misery.
