I specifically said I didn't trust these figures. I was asking for numbers or a source or an estimation of Coutinhos wage in relation to other players. So please post the many credible sources!

They are not proper sources, it's blog websites where someone like you or me made a guess at the wages, vs a reputable news source like Goal or ESPN that has some inside info and Barca sources so they can make a credible guess or they might know it altogether as Goal did with Depay. Like you said not trustworthy. I mean the first one says Collado is on 210k a week lol.

They are just as much 'sources' but nice. This is what I asked for, more or less. Thanks!

AS has its reasons though, and MD and Sport have other reasons, to overplay or misrepresent Coutinhos wage. I am not entirely convinced by those three.
I don't think Sid Lowe would take these numbers out of his arse though. It seems to be the same number as AS reported only post-tax rather than pre-tax too?

If he is indeed earning 4 times the amount of Depay, then he should be judged differently. But most of all, those who signed these contracts!

No one will buy him.

Best can get is loan him out with some part of wage covered in final years or free him if he agrees. Reportedly his amortisation costs are gone since last summer so if true could let him go.
