Coutinho thrives when he's like the main/2nd main player of the club. He was great for Brazil in the 2018 WC too.

People can diss him all they want but Barca didn't play to his strengths.

He was also good in his brief spell at Bayern infact. You can't deny his quality. Blame Koeman and Barca.

He didn't work out for Bayern either. Just like at Barca he started for them the first couple of months until he was benched and mostly used as a sub for the last 30-40 minutes.

He's obviously got very good qualities and at his best is a top player, but the excuse of not being used right....I don't know. Bayern tried him as a CAM in a 4-2-3-1 and he just didn't perform after an initial good spell. In his best position. Maybe it's the pressure or like jamrock said needing a chaotic style of play to succeed.
