The only good thing about this deal is the fact that Neymar is not coming. Hopefully.

I don't know how this is good news. We're basically short in terms of quality on the bench now.

We seen what happened last season when we had no quality on the bench.

For his personal situation, it's not a paying loan to Bayern that would allow him to get by in the long term. It could have been at the heart of the PSG project in the long term. Bad choice not only for the player but also for Barcelona who will not win much in this operation. Apparently, he refused PSG only for salary reasons.

We all know Bayern are not buying him next season. They're such a tight club despite being one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Of course not. They still want Sane and probably Havertz too next summer. Coutinho is also earning way too much, so unless he accepts a lot less that alone would already be a deal breaker.

But if he plays well it should at leats be easier to sell him than coming off a season of being a benchwarmer at Barca.

Why that means no Neymar?

Because Coutinho is the only big ticket player that PSG allegedly wants and we are willing to trade. Coutinho to Bayern means we will have to include another big ticket player like Dembele but we won't sell him, at least I hope we won't. Or that means we will have to pay everything in cash, which we don't have. So the deal is pretty much off.

This is the worst deal in history of FC Barcelona! Loaning a 140 mil player to Bayern is unbelievably stupid not to mention this makes no sense without Neymar coming here! The board has outdone themselves this time! We are either broke and can't afford to pay his salary or we have the stupidest board in the world of football.

Of course we would prefer selling him outright but there are no takers, given the high price tag he has and his abysmal performance here.

He is on pretty decent salary so we will save one year of his salary plus a loan fee (probably pretty small considering it is the stingy Bayern we are dealing with).

Not an ideal business but it is either this or him rotting on the bench. I am though a bit concerned that we are losing quite a few squad players already (Malcom, Suarez and now Continho) without much reinforcement and if injuries strike we will be stretched thin. I guess we will recall the likes of Carles Perez and Abel Ruiz etc. from our B team.

In the animal kingdom Bayern München would be a leeching parasite. Stinginess taken to a whole other level.

-Comes to Barca as the most expensive transfer in the club's history
-Flops
-Planned to be in the Neymar transfer
-Rejects PSG and tells Barca fuck you and goes to Bayern
-No Neymar and Coutinho is gone and Barca ends up with nothing

Incredible.

This goes to show you NEVER FUCKING DEAL WITH EXPENSIVE BRAZILIAN STARS. Period.

We got f***ed in the a** by Neymar and then by the incompetence of the sulking 12-year old looking man with the mentality and spirit of a 11-year old boy. Money down the drain. And now Neymar wants to return, shitting all over our finances and economic stability. The only positive from the loan-deal with Bayern is that it is probably a no-go for Neymar.

biggest flop in football history. horrible body language, no personality, gets bullied on the ball like a school boy.. Brazilian Denis Suarez. theres no way in hell Bayern are buying him or any top team for that matter, our only hope was fooling PSG

wouldnt be suprised if Bayern still buy Sane and let him recover in Munich, bring in Havertz next summer and send Coutinho back, its a good deal for them, he is just a stop gap until they players they want are available.

Never seen such a weird crowd dynamic with a player. Dude had a great start, got injured, had a few bad games and the storyline started flipping so quickly. I don't think he had 7 bad games before we started harassing him. He is one of those sensitive players who need confidence by all accounts

And especially after today we shouldn't be loaning him out. It proves we have no quality on the bench. I'm not saying Coutinho is a world beater or anything, but I doubt he would have played as bad as Dembele or Suarez today.

If we're going to loan him out, we best have a good replacement lined up or we're done for.
