You should also post the context, which IIRC, was someone posting about Barca's defensive frailty, City's strength and defense, and the chances of the remaining teams to win.

Considering your team exploited Barca's defensive frailty, it's not a stretch that the implication was that City would pose no challenge to Bayern.

And then the question of payment to Pool if Coutinho wins a CL.

All I'm going to say is that you might be surprised by a team that can run 115 km a game or more. That's all.

What options? I know it is a long shot for City to top the likes of Bayern and Liverpool, but one can dream.

City will win against Bayern. They were weaker as the result shows, their defence looked most of time trash. Kevin De Bruyne, Sterling and Silva will be on fire.

I am not worried about their offense but defense. City has the intensity to match though. They can beat Bayern.

Bayern wont play like that V City or PSG.

They knew Barca had little to worry with pace on break and threw everything forward to force an open game and pressure Barcas shit defence.

Hell, people here in this thread had a bit of self deprecating fun about the Coutinho decision and I contributed with a harmless joke myself. Pretty sure they call that "laughing with someone" and not "about someone" and I doubt anyone took it serious anyway. But I guess you already went with what would fit the "arrogant german" narrative from your previous interpretation.
