With all respect Ligue 1 is a 2nd tier league in Europe compared to the likes of Bundesliga, La Liga and EPL. PSG has a ton of money but that aside, it is simply not on the same level as BVB when it comes to pretty much everything else. Much worse.

BVB lost to 2nd tier league team Monaco, they also sell all of their star players, while PSG attracts the top players, they have a world class player in every position and don't worry about someone leaving them. The Bundesliga may be better but BVB and PSG shouldn't even be compared.

PSG is certainly on level with Dortmund as a club, but League 1 must be bloody boring. Oh well, at least he gets his money.

you're exaggerating, they are comparable, which is why people here are doing it.
BVB is certainly "bigger" than PSG, but PSG can compensate with money which makes many things easier.
On the pitch they are pretty much level. PSG is more consistent over the course of a season, but BVB is mentally stronger and can keep up with teams better than them.

Who were PSG before the sugar daddy came in? I only remember them as French Champions twice and the team we signed Dinho from. Dortmund on the other hand have history and won a CL in the CL era. They've also won numerous titles.

Apparently his move to PSG is very close

A bit curious move, isn't it? I mean he gets a lot of money, but could do as well elsewhere..
On the other hand he gets sure titles and sure competition in the CL, and lives in a beautiful city - I can see the appeal. Rumoured 10M€/year and 70M.€-fee.

Shame how they keep selling their best players every year. If one were to assemble a XI with all the currently active players that played for Dortmund at some point that team would probably be the best if not one of the best team in Europe.

He wanted RM but they weren't after him. Then what other options he has? Barca? no. Atletico? can't afford his price. Manu? Not sure they are after him either. after that you have City who has no need for a no9 with Aguero & Jesus. Chelsea who has Costa and it isn't like either of them are truly historic club.
While the market is inflated, there is still very few clubs who can pay 50M+ and it limits your option as a player

Yes, I thought about Atletico & maybe United or Chelsea (who supposedly wants Morata) he could be good for both, but if they don't want him that is difficult for sure.
A bit the same with Aguero - class striker, but if he was to leave he wouldn't have that many options, when you look at it.
