There is nothing to disagree on. Pep, xavi, lucho all said he's a good striker. Then there is you going against them.
Rumours of this deal going a bit stale. Understandable as unlike Papa Perez, Chelsea know that with the salary cap issues that we have a paper hand. And probably by the end of the window they can get Auba for next to nothing.
And that's my main gripe with this LaLiga salary cap. I get why it is there in essence, but it removes all the negotiating power of the club(s) when they know we can't register our players without exits. And that there is 9 days or so left to solve it.
There needs to be a grace period and a lax on rulings if there is proof of considerable income increases.

Although we know they need a striker too. I think both sides will find a good deal. Both benefit.
No reason not to get it done, especially if it's for 20mil. Nothing for the new owner. It just doesn't matter.
Chelsea would be stupid not to take this deal for 20mil. They need goal scorer much more than the 20mil. Short-term quick fix.

Price just went up to 30 million. Pay up Chelsea!!

Would've preferred to keep him but a +20m offer for someone who arrived for free 8 months ago, who's 33 and isn't a starter is too good of an offer to say no to.
Leaves on a high note to say the least. Was always going to be a limited player for us but the way he adapted so quickly and won us many points is very impressive.
