Sergi Roberto looked really good in the Xavi role. He played a more disciplined game than he had in the previous friendly, and did it equally well. Me encanta. I'm developing a full-on man crush, and I don't care who knows it. I just want to shout it from a roof top.

Cesc is flourishing with the high pressure because it gives him more freedom to get in the box where he likes to be in attacking moves.

Bagnack was a bit wobbly IMO. I don't think he's ready for a match against mid-table or better against La Liga, but hopefully we'll get him on the team for lowbies in the league and CL. He knows he's a B team player primarily. He needs a good solid year or two of physical development.

I really like how the attackers have moved in this friendlies with Tata. The pitch really opens up when the attackers and midfielders are moving so effectively. I can't wait to see how this translates in the league and CL. I am entertained again.

Now for the boys to arrive to Malaysia! All of us Malaysians are expecting the score to be more than the score against Thailand.

The score is relatively unimportant in friendly matches even if it is so disproportionate.

That was a really nice ball from Pique to Messi when he won the penalty, almost worthy of Mascherano. :pep:

Have to give credit to Pedro as well, hopefully both he and Sanchez will tear it up this season.

This video captures to perfection the Barça's players' skills at work in a training exercise

One of the Barça TV cameras took this excellent video of the Barça players in training during the Asian Tour. It’s a warm-up exercise familiar to footballers all around the world, but with the camera located just behind the feet of Xavi Hernández, the incredible skill and precision of the FCB players is truly stunning. Piqué and Bagnack are the unfortunate players in the middle of the circle!

Really nice.

Tello and Jds were given the green light to play Saturday.

Some concerns over the state of the pitch that continues to worsen due to weather conditions - even possible for the match to be suspended

It's constantly raining here these days, hopefully it won't be that bad.
And of course, scores are irrelevant unless it's your national team... and our national team is well.. "average"

Pinto got injured on his knee, because of the pitch. The match could really be suspended. The club wants to play on a different stadium, where they trained yesterday, that seem to be in better conditions. But it has 20.000 less seats.

If it's really that bad they should just suspend it or move it to a different stadium. No need to take such risks in pre-season.

Hate these pitches. Only Mascherano still slide tackles on that pitch :worthy:

Hope the boys just coast the game out and don't risk their legs.

Just move it to another stadium. No big deal

Hmm.. which stadium is this? There is another one, which is the one they used to practice. Not sure how the organizers will respond to this..

The pitch is NEVER that well kept to be honest. I thought they would patch up for Barcelona's visit but that's not the case. So probably the match will be suspended. We will see the weather here tomorrow.

Here's something to read about our glorious "Wembley Stadium Of Malaysia"

Tomorrow's game will be played in the Shah Alam stadium instead of in the Bukit Jalil stadium, because of the bad pitch at the latter. [md]

Not suspended

But that stadium's capacity is a lot smaller? I wonder what will happen with the 20.000+ people who won't have a ticket in the new stadium...
