And again this pre season is a joke it all about marketing not about getting fit. Look at other big clubs like RM who play eachother.

Seems to be the hardest thing to sign a new defender. Incredible how long barca is searching. Seems like they only want or know players who are playing for big clubs. Why dont they go for talents ? just take a look at Dortmund their new player is a bomb again.

We played Bayern as our first game of pre-season. You must have missed that.

We beat the Thai XI 7-1, and they beat Manchester United only weeks before. You must have missed that.

Also, there is this Brazilian kid called Neymar. You must have missed that.

The season has not even begun and people are already bitching about anything and everything. It makes me wonder how many people followed the club pre-Ronaldinho.

I don't know, I like to know where we're at when playing against top teams. I actually wish Madrid had even tougher opponents. Bournemouth was a laughing stock; Lyon was tough because they were better prepared; we all know PSG are a good team, but they weren't that well prepared; LA Galaxy just lolworthy; Everton was ok; Chelsea was a good test; Inter was horrible.
Playing against Asian teams you'll never ever encounter again...dunno, mate, sounds a bit stupid. Barca would do better if they tested themselves against top tier teams and not have a disaster like last year's CL. You score 8 goals and that's great. But how does that prepare you for Europe (I assume you're after CL; La Liga is a battle between RM and Barca really)? Just an honest opinion.
Preseason is for getting back into shape and trying out new things. But it should also be about finding your weaknesses and strengthening them.

He was in the box, and started running back as soon as Malaysia got the ball. He expected Xavi (I think, or whoever got beaten on that 1 vs. 1) to win the ball, and after that there was nothing he could do.

The most annoying thing is that Mascherano was cought off position yet again. He left the other guy tottaly comfortable to get a shot on goal..

Sure, blame it on Pique. You must have missed the part where he was covering 2-3 player on his way back while his teammates were sipping lemonade watching what's going on.

Not sure if its only me or because its pre season. But just watch the Barca game after Xavi and Iniesta has been subbed off. And the youngsters came in. Thats exactly what Barca has lost in recent years in midfield. More pace more variety and the drag forward to the goal and search for the shot.

I think it's just the pre-season. Of course these youngsters will be hungrier to show what they can do to the new coach. These games are probably the only chance they'll get. For legendary players like Xavi & Iniesta playing against Malaysia really has no purpose besides gaining some match fitness.
