He did overpay a lot for Fellaini though. If he had gone with Ozil or some1, he could've had Januzaj, Rooney and Ozil play behind RVP with Carrick and Jones behind those. Granted that properly isn't a playstyle Moyes or United is comfortable with, but at least you'd be playing better football. I think
