Strange statement. Arsenal got nearly caught on the counter in the last minutes, so settling for a draw rather than another demoralising defeat after being slaughtered at Anfield Road is understandable.

Of course Arsenal should have won and I don't really see Wenger's preference for defensive possession atm, seeing that the system clearly affects their penetrarion and the effectiveness of some of his players. It was a good idea to bring in Rosicky, but playing with three 10s that all congested the middle wasn't ideal... Should have brought in another winger like AOC or Podolski earlier. Özil had a good game and responded well, but it's clear that they won't get the best of him without width and speed on the wings and perhaps without another option upfront.

I think Podolski will be sold in the summer at this rate. If Wenger doesn't play him, he could as well sell him to save his wages. Of course he isn't the saviour some act like he is, but he would have provided some width yesterday, and is probably a better finisher than Giroud.

He is. But that's hardly an achievement. Podolski is not very suited to a central role at Arsenal though. He doesn't look very convincing out on the left either. His poor off the ball movement is the reason why he's always on the bench. Shame really, because his clinical finishing is needed but what good is it if he never is in any good positions?

Giroud is just so average. Massively out of his depth at this level and has cost his team points in at least 3-4 big games this season. I genuinely believe that Özil think it's insulting that he has to combine with him. You could just see how frustrated he was with him last night.

If he's not second or even third choice next season then there's something wrong. It will be like Fabregas all over. He was basically creating clear cut chances for inferior strikers for years. Only for them to miss. It will eventually get too frustrating.

Very poor football from Arsenal lately. No signs of improving either. I miss Walcott and Ramsey...:(

Have Arsensl fans realised yet that they were never going to win the league this season?

The writing was on the wall back in December.

Jose on Wenger's comments that he's telling everyone chelsea are not favourites because he's afraid of failure-
"If supposedly he (Arsene Wenger) is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I don't fail many time. He is specialist because eight years without silverware is very long. If I do that with Chelsea, I leave and I don't come back."
