Usually very poor in big games, his form has been awful lately and Sanogo did fine against Liverpool. Nothing wrong with starting him in against Bayern.

I think it might have had to do with Giroud's affair and that he wasn't mentally ready for such a big game.

Damn all you other top 4 sides and having strikers who can score goals. It pains me knowing we'd be walking the league if we had one.

It pains me even more to know we sold one to Liverpool, and let another slip to Man City when he wanted to join us in the years leading up to his arrival there.
