Meh, Suarez claims the best half way line (ish) goal in PL history. There's so much genius in the strike mere words don't do it justice. Rooney's was class but doesn't hold a torch to this one (being a hat trick goal too).

Suarez's was nowhere near as good as Rooney's, not even close. He had time to line it up, it was on the floor and it was closer. Only anti-United/anti-English sentiment would have people say otherwise. The genius was with Rooney, his vision, the way he barely looked up before knowing what had to be done, he had a split second to shoot, Suarez had the best part of an hour.... The one above was probably the best though tbf.

Great goal, GK slipped a bit and he had plenty of time, but you can't take away from him the sheer distance and accuracy. One of the best for sure.

Suarez' goal was better IMO. It was close to impossible to save whereas the goalkeeper would've been able to save Rooney's shot quite easily if he was just a bit more concentrated as it bounced before entering the goal.

Completely disagree. Rooney's bounced before it hit the line and the keeper had a bit of a mare IMO. And its such a harder skill to chip the ball like Suarez did than to hit it up on the bounce like Rooney did. Suarez was dribbling and it went into the top corner (watch Ruddy beat at full stretch). West Ham's keeper went full retard on a shot that bounced a few metres before the line. I really just don't get it. Becks' and Figueroa's were both much better.
