Liverpool could win the league this year and they'll still be linked with second-rate players in the summer. Just shows how far the club has fallen in this modern day.

There was a time when Barcelona had to loan a player from Arsenal and that player would say that he wants to do well for Barca so he could return to Arsenal. In the 11 years that passed since then, Barca has won 21 trophies to Arsenal's 3.

That's because wealth of the owner is more important than stature of the club....Do you really think City are more illustrious than Liverpool and Arsenal??? Liverpool's so called "Fall" could be rectified immediately if they are bought by a rich Qatari prince.....Ability to attract players has no relation to the demise of the club....We won titles on a regular basis yet missed out on world class players to City and chelsea..........

lel. think teams like dortmund proved buying stars means fuck all. we could sign low-profile parejo and man utd could get every name they've been linked with (even including the mirror and daily stars), that won't gurantee man utd points.

its about the fit of the boots not the colour or design. there was a day when 90m ronaldo sold for 12m.

I think a more likely scenario is that United will invest heavily with a new manager, and Arsenal will be forced out of the top four. If goals by each club's top scorer weren't counted, then Liverpool would have a 10 point lead at the top of the PL ahead of Chelsea.

Even the scenario of Suarez leaving is highly unlikely because he's on 250K a week....How much more will he earn at Real or Barca? and I doubt he wants to be supporting act at Real instead of being top dog at Liverpool....I hate to say this but Liverpool will be challenging for title again next season...They have a terrific manager and looking at how clubs like Athletico and Dortmund are doing with a top manager and very little resources the quality of manager is more important than money.....We will definitely spend a lot this transfer window because money from champions league will more than double from 2015/16 season....whoever misses out next season will struggle to get in because the estimated income from champions league will be around £80 million...If Liverpool get into top 4 next season they will cement their place there.....Next season will be defining season for United and Arsenal because whoever gets left out will not get into top 4 for a long time.............

Only 2 places I could see Suarez move to, Psg and Madrid, all others cant afford him or have this moral high ground reason to not want him (Bayer,Barca)He wont be sold to other ENglish teams.
So that leaves Madrid who bought Bale for 100 mil, Liverpool would surely also ask atleast 90 mil since he lately renewed his contract and they are playing cl next season and Psg who might want to replace Lavezzi or a frustrated Cavani. He als will be 28 next season and clubs wont be inclined to spedn 80 mil on a 28 year old player since its usually not worth the investment.
I feel he will become a clublegend at Liverpool if he wont leave this season.

If Liverpool win the league then of course they're are back, how could you argue otherwise. Even if they don't they've achieved their main aim which was to qualify for the CL. Though of course it's a different ball game from the start of the season. Don't think they'll have a better chance to win the league than this season however, next season will be more difficult given the extra strain playing in the CL places on squads.

Suarez would be crazy to leave now, surely he has to play in the CL in a Liverpool shirt.
