Some Genius needs to come up with a rule change. Something like 'You must have 'x' numbers of players over halfway line at all times'

Just stop the clock whenever a player is down, a foul is called or the ball is out of play. If 90 minutes is too long then just make it 70 but the profit a team has from time-wasting is ridiculous.

Just make the Goals bigger. When the game was being played over 150 years ago, GK's weren't the size they are now, so the goals in relation to the goalkeeper back then were bigger.

Change the height from 8 feet to 9 feet. Keep the width the same.

It will increase the number of goals per game significantly and bore, nil-nil draws will be a rarity.
