For once I agree with Alan Hansen on Liverpool's season, it was a 'failure'.

Yes, yes if you were given 2nd from the start of the season blah blah blah....But from the position they were in, the form, the run they were on...going into that Chelsea game...Yes Liverpool will compete again but it'll be tough to be in such a strong position to win the league, virtually a draw from the title...Suarez tears said it all.

Southampton going to be stripped? ...Lallana to 'Pool...Shaw to Chelsea/Man U...Schneiderlin maybe to Arsenal

Alan Hansen last appearance on MOTD aswell pretty much unwatchable now.

Yeah, they have exceeded expectations alright, but when they had the title in their own hands and let it slip (oops! Sorry Stevie), it will inevitably go down as a failure.

This may have been their best ever chance to win the EPL, but if they can hold on to Suarez and strengthen in the key areas (i.e. Defence), they can give it another go next season.

It will be much more gruelling though with the extra test of CL football, so Rodgers will have to manage his squad well.

Tim Sherwood's a great guy, but that doesn't necessarily make him a great football manager. Feel bad for the appalling treatment he has had to endure at the hands of that slimy, scheming, back-stabbing cretin Daniel Levy. :yucky:

I hope he stays in the game and finds a new club that appreciates him.
