Theeeeeeeeeoooo! Terrible display yet again but a very well deserved result.

But Bendtner really did save the day. Two goals from him now, and he's barely even played this season. Not too bad.

At least Everton and Newcy dropped points. Arsenal will fade eventually as this game shows - Should be putting away Cardiff much easier. Chelsea thrashing Southampton away from home and Man City getting the job done. Can't see past those two because of their consistency and squad strength.

It's time divers start getting red cards or retrospective bans. It really makes a bad name for football especially to people who don't know much about football ( in other words Americans :pep: )

You could argue the the opposite too. The game also showed resilience and the mentality to keep fighting, something which has shown in the last 3 games. Didn't expect that from Arsenal tbh. But bad overall performance, that's true. they really miss Ozil, Ramsey and a clinical finisher.

Clinical finishing was what we missed, we had 22 shots with 3 on target before the goals, Mertesacker had two headers that were just wide, Wilshere smashed a shot against the post, Walcott had a free kick just over the goal, Bendtner had a great opportunity that he somehow couldn't reach... In the end, we won, were clearly the better team and kept a clean sheet. I'm not complaining.

Possibly. Still I can't see Arsenal finishing ahead of Man C or Chelsea. January is when the better teams take it up a notch going into easter when the business end of things start.

I'll be surprised to Arsenal remain top in the next few months.

Arsenal have a very easy run of games in January, contrary to City for example who will have to face (among others) Spurs away, Chelsea at home and Newcastle away. February could prove suicidal for Arsenal with some extremely tough games coming up, but they have a chance of going a few points clear in the next weeks. It will depend on February and March imo.
