I was confident of winning this game before the news of injuries but now I'm worried about getting hammered by chelsea...The difference between Carrick and Rooney in midfield is just too much for us to overcome..

Yeah your team isn't totally screwed, you should give us a game, maybe even play better, considering our own form.

I have to say, this is probably the most excited I've been for a PL match in a while. Probably because it's United and they are actually good again, City don't do it for me at all. Then we've got our other challenger in Arsenal the following week. Feels more like 10 years ago. :D

The match has been hyped up by the media, but tbh I expect a 0-0/1-1 game even before the injuries to United. Jose has one and a half hands on the trophy so he'll be at his most pragmatic. Plus something tells me that both managers are saving their best for Arsenal (for different reasons :lol: )

I don't think we can play like we've been playing recently without Carrick and Blind so I expect us to go full on Sam Alladyce and rely on Fellaini to get us something..Most of our recent chances were created from our left hand trio of Blind,Young and Fellaini and I'm not sure we can continue doing that without Blind as left back...

Zouma starts in midfield alongside Matic, Willian dropped for Oscar and Fabregas is at AMC. Drogba is also starting, Solanke on the bench. If Drogba sucks again Solanke should get some time. Mourinho won't risk it though.
