Got myself to watch Leicester - Man U and Tottenham - Chelsea this week end, and I'm really baffled about the PL hype, apart from their shirts who are better designed and the quality of the pitch may be, none of these 2 - supposedly - high flight games were any better than any random mid table La Liga games.

The English Premier League remains exponentially better than the Bundesliga, as far as I am concerned.

Well you can laugh and hype it all you want, let's check back in when it's UCL quarter finals and there's again no english team to be seen.

Honestly, I was bored in a game for EPL's 1st place.

Leicester are one of the league's worst teams and will finish bottom half by the end of the season. Even if Leicester and Man Utd were the league's two best teams (currently both are outside top 5 teams in league for me) you cannot judge the quality of a league on a single match between the top 2 teams.

Watching a Barcelona firing on all cylinders compared to every other game I watch is like watching paint dry. It's torture, I stop watching after 10 minutes.

At least there is some competition in pl, unlike in bundesliga and la liga, the question isnt if but when barca/bayern win the league, and how many records they set on their way.

There's competition in moroccan championship too, doesn't make it better.

That is a very weak argument to hide the fact that the level of actual football in PL is so low, but then again may be i'm just spoiled watching Barça every week.

Haha, Morten you are at it again.

But its the truth. Part of the reason pl is considered more entertaining is that its more unpredictable, not always, but often. Who will win the league this season? I would say city, but its not a sure thing, Arsenal and United are up there as well.
Who has won the league in spain 100 times the last 6-7 years, and who will win it again? Who has won bundesliga 3 years straight, and will win it again?
We all know the answer to that, dont we.
