I doubt it, City lacks quality full backs which are crucial to Pep's style. And Fernandinho is no Busi, they will be hot and cold entire season. Some super amazing matches and some frustrating ones. He might win the league but Mou has a good team. So it will be very close, in CL City will need lot of luck to reach finals.

Yes, that could be the problem.. Sagna,Kolarov and Clichy are all 30+ and average.. Though City still has some time to bring in a full back.. Or maybe in January.. The squad needs a lot of changes, a lot of shit players need to go.. Pep can't change everything in one summer.. But when he does makes the team he wants, they'll be ****** teams in PL..

Good to see the good ol' Chelsea fight is back. Go a goal down, some excellent subs from Conte, and bang we won. That game was more difficult than it needed to be but this team is clearly still coming together, and we need a new defender on top of Zouma coming back.

Man u are pretty much buying the league .. real Madrid started this trend in early 00's .. chealsea followed now City are joining the circus ..

funny how everywhere he went , the self proclaimed special one coached the biggest spenders in every league
City has spent more this summer than United if you just take expenditure, there is almost no difference netween the two clubs if you take net spend as your basis of judgement. Though it is true United have spent quite a bit the last few seasons. To be honest, it is long overdue, many fans were frustrated at how fiscally prudent Ferguson was towards the end of his career and it cost us at times a lot of good players.

The club has no one to blame but itself for going on such large spending sprees to try and redress the balance of many retired influential players who were not adequately replaced at the time. I hope moving forward now the club will be much smarter in the transfer market.

As far as Mourinho being at big spending clubs, Bayern, Barcelona and Man City are hardly paupers in the case of Guardiola.
