I am confused by the comparison to a Spanish team, as Spanish teams tend to be averse to risk, cautious and overly physical/direct.

I was refering to tiki taka and maintaining possession.. average (even top ) english sides are incapable of that.. thus they play directly.. and by directly i mean very very few passes
