If anything that goal was offside.

But the hand was in a very natural movement on his dive, so you can discuss about it but in my eyes looks ok. But definitely not clear wrong call.

Man, when you punch the ball in the net with your hand it is a hand ball. That's like the oldest rule in football. With this rule football probably started.

 Lol no wonder England didn't have any refs at the World Cup. They're horrible. These guys make Lahoz look like a competent ref.

Oliver and Atkinson don't even know the rules.

Literally what on earth do main officials have to do with a goal like that? It's on the linesman.

No, there is nothing to discuss, it was a wrong decision, end of story.

City score after a dive from Stering it seemed. Just refereeing horror show. VAR should be obligatory at this point in every league that has the financial possibilities to implement it.

Whole brigade is shit tbf. 10 seconds ago Aguero dived in the swimming pool for example.

It's not an example of anything really. Most dives are difficult to call these days. You make shitting on the refs far too easy for yourself, which is the only issue I take with what you say TBH.

What do you mean? Some of the errors refs make are incredible and have a huge influence on the game and the result.

So what? You have to deal with each situation in turn. The handball+offside goal was marginal and impossible to spot for both referees. The dive I did not see so can't comment in any way other than they're often difficult to call too, even from a camera replay sometimes.

On the whole VAR would help. Doesn't mean the crew have been completely shit. What has the other linesman done wrong for example? Any single offside call wrong? Was he in a position to call the pen? I just don't like this random outrage every time the right call is not made.

Still a great game. And the Wolves would definitely deserve a break after their unlucky start into the competition.

Ref was useless the whole game. Got over half of the decisions wrong.

Overall refs in PL as are rather poor. This is another example. Big errors in almost all games I've seen so far in this debut of a season.

VAR will help but not with arrogant refs who think it's beneath them to rely on video feed. Those who have VAR at their disposal and don't use it in important situations and take bad decisions should be punished severely.
