Arsenals record against better teams is quite decent, despite them being quite terrible overall this season.
Got a bit lucky in the end here though, Spurs should have scored.

A lot depends on luck in these sorts of records like you said...but I actually don't like teams who have good records v good opposition but not the league position to show for it. It means they have the capacity to do well but slack off in other games...which is a cardinal sin as a professional IMO.

Idk man, the Puskas nominations seem to me to be very lucky hits (a lot of them anyway) or lucky moves. For example, the Giroud Arsenal back-kick goal from a few years ago strikes me as ridiculously lucky because Giroud does not have the talent to pull that off intentionally. (Contrary to say, Zlatan, who has scored multiple such goals).

On the other hand Messi has scored multiple unbelievable goals that were 100% deliberate, like the Betis chip, and he never seems to win it.

But if you hit a once-in-a-life-time screamer that was 40% luck you have a better chance? Meh. That's uninteresting.
