Klopp is basically working at Liverpool to prevent what is happening to City from happening to them as well. When their movement declines as much as City's and they are unable to go at teams with intensity, they will fall off, because individually they aren't great either.
The only team who can keep things simple and look top is PSG at times due to the talent they have up front. The rest, Bayern included, have to keep intensity levels very high and work superhard on the field to maintain their domination.
Zidane's Madrid with Ronaldo was basically like the current PSG on steroids and massive luck.
Dont think they are trying their usual ball domination in opponent half and likes of KDB is getting majorly pissed off as not seeing enough of ball and not much support from midfield when he gets on it.
He might get pissed, but De Bruyne is also part of the downward path of the team. Not the same player as 1-2 years ago. Didn't drop off as much as Sterling but still, he's also lackluster, lacking an edge and a bit of pace. Team erosion really.
Episode 456 of Walker being dumb. Offside bailed him off.
And that's why Jesus will never be a killer striker. So, he makes room for a shot with a nice touch, and instead of blasting it in the far corner, he tries some flick and loses the ball.
Frankly, I think people who prefer purer forwards are right. Don't see the need for players who are second striker material. In some circumstances, they can work nicely, but most of the time, it doesn't pan out in the long run. Either you can run the game in midfield with good passing, stamina, smart positioning, or you need to show either reliable finishing skills to play striker, or speed and 1 vs 1 ability to occupy a wing role.
