He hasn't, only lowered the standards at the club.

They had a slow start to the season, but sit in 5th, CL place to fight for.

Present position on 3-12-21 and previous seasons.

5th, 14th, 9th, 4th.

Yeah, thats around where they were when he took over.

So congrats, he managed to get them back where they were before he took over(temporarily), after back to back 8th places.

No other manager would be allowed to do this, Arteta is a magician of sort.

He’s been there 2 years. Aubameyang is not in form. But CL is not outside their grasp, tho defeating teams above them is a rarity.

Do not be ridiculous.

Since Arteta took over Arsenal from they have earned the second most points AFTER Man City from Jan up to now ..

They just had a ridiculously difficult start to this season by losing to ManCity and a flying Chelsea.

May not be the stat you are looking for, but this one is good:

MIKEL ARTETA boasts a BETTER record than Arsene Wenger after 100 games in charge at Arsenal. Sun.

Im confused, what are you trying to say, they have the most points in PL after City since January, or since Arteta took over?

In any case, the calendar year table shows that they are in 6th, not 2nd.

It is one of those two options .. I was pleasantly surprised though

It simply confirmed Arsenal were 6th for calendar year.
Liverpool were 3rd with only 3 points more.

Okay, so they did indeed not pick up the 2nd most point after City then, the same as i found.

Still, decent enough, but its more around where they were before Arteta, so its not really an improvement as much as it was driving them off a cliff, then climbing back up.

If you look closely it shows that they were only one win ( 3 points ) off the third position .. after Man City and Chelsea .

If you had if checked a couple of weeks ago they would probably be second as Arsenal have lost against ManU and Liverpool whilst Chelsea are on an excellent run

Two weeks ago they were the second highest points scorers after Manchester City for the 2021 calendar year

How is that not a flamin improvement !!!!
