They probably have terrible refereeing as part of the EPL's "sell strategy". Adds a lot of unwarranted suspense to games.

Kane one was between yellow and red. This was was red all day as he intentionally kicked the guy with his full force in frustration. Robertson is not at the first outrage of this kind.

Worst decision in this game is allowing that Liverpool goal after Salah tried to score with his hand.

No it was also a clear red .. he came full steam sliding in with extended leg, completely reckless.

But Spurs are some fair chaps .. overcompensating the craptastic refereeing in their favor by being extremely wasteful :)

Amazing game

Tottenham cut throughout Liverpool on the counter...

5 (!) big chances, with Liverpool only 1

Spurs robbed by Alisson and their bad finishing

Conte proves he is WC coach.
EPL has the best of the best in coaches. When Poch takes over Utd it would be a joy to watch games between all of them

Kane should have had red.
Kane should have scored 3
Liverpool deserved a red
Salah was anonymous
Liverpool will feel lucky with a draw, Spurs will feel disappointed.

First game of the season that Liverpool got outperformed on xG !!!

Other games they drew (vs City, Chelsea) or lost (West Ham) they were on par on xG

Spurs will be in the dressing room knowing they were lucky with Kane not getting a red, but mad at themselves for not winning.

Conte has made Juve great, he made Inter great and now he is making Tottenham great. This guy is better than we all thought.

Nah, some of us always said he is great.

Chelsea are struggling now, but getting where they should be on xG
Liverpool and City will go all the way.
Don't see any struggle for Liverpool. 1st game of the season they had lower xG than their opponent.
Will win tons in the months to come

Liverpool rely massively on certain players for their style.

Both fullbacks, VVD, Henderson, Salah/Mane etc dont have replacements.

City almost any player can drop out and the difference is not nearly as noticeable.

It is Citys to lose from here and they have had injuries plus been to every tough away ground already where they battered both Liverpool and Chelsea.

Same as every season.. Pep tweaks tactics a bit, takes team time to settle and they go on a run.
