As a tactician and motivator, he's every bit as good as the best.

He has good but has his limitations. I don't think he is near the best. Apart from his first season at Chelsea, I don't think what he has done the last 5 years has been too impressive.

The criticism of Conte in the past was that his teams would win the easier games but struggle in the big ones as we saw at Inter for the most part. He seems to have the opposite problem at Spurs though as they have generally done well in the bigger games but struggled a lot elsewhere.
