Bit of an overreaction because of todays loss by City. After 14 games last season City had exactly the same results (10 wins 2 draws and 2 losses). Difference this year is that with Haaland they are scoring way more 11 goals more) but also conceding more (14 to 8). As Serghei mentioned, it is the defence that is costing them.

Another point is that Arsenal are massively over-performing.

Overall City are behind the early Pep years teams statistically. But I think the Haaland move is to get over that CL line rather than record break in the EPL.

It might happen, but the problem with that theory is that as a striker, he will have less influence the tougher the games are, most likely.

For that the whole team needs to perform for him, he is a finisher nothing more.

Today Brentford created more chances than City which let Haaland sit like a monkey doing nothing.

To be fair it's not just todays loss but something that's happened over the last couple months.

Until early October they looked fantastic and twice scored 6 goals in a game but even prem teams are starting to get smarter about shutting Haaland out. He's only got one goal from open play since then.

Without him scoring, they aren't anywhere near as free flowing when attacking.

They haven?t really lost that many key players, both Sterling and Gabriel Jesus were quite marginalized, I?d say, as Pep often chose to play without a striker and in Jesus? case in particular, he was mostly a sub. However I think folks are right that City has become too dependent on Haaland, always trying to run the attacking game through him and feed him the ball, in a way perhaps similar to how we were relying on Messi, which made them worse as a whole.

They also lost Zinchenko and Fernandinho who were both very versatile in positions they could cover and seldom injured. They've replaced Fernandinho with a crocked Phillips and Gomez who looks miles off being ready for the PL.

Sterling didn't start often anymore but him willing to constantly make runs beyond the full backs is something they miss. Rest of their wingers prefer ball to feet now.

And you're right, it's all too Haaland dependent now. He has a quiet day, or he gets terrible service like today, it's a shutout for them.

The Xavi special - international break
+ natural spurts of production from a forward

His squad is mainly formed with big teams' "rejects", he himself was a Barcelona reject.

In term of individual skill, our squad is more than double skilled.

Arteta is doing a fantastic job even if he ends up second in the league.

Emery's arsenal was more offensive but conceded too many goals compared to this arsenal.

Arteta is doing great job at Arsenal.. In worst case they'll finish TOP 4, if they can play in this form second part of the season, chances are they can even win the league after 19 years.. Would love to see Arsenal win the league, even though I don't mind City winnin it again.. I kind of miss Arsenal in the Champions League..
