Lol. Ok...

Never ending Xavi excuses as usual.

ETH is improving players and putting them in system in way Xavi hasnt so far and in less time.

He had Wan Bussaka RB and Shaw CB today and beat City.

Had Martial CF and Fred in CM.

All players that are not recently in on huge money.

While Rashford is better than ever at moment after a horrendous season.

Problems stem deeper than just Haaland's introduction for City. Lack of real wingers capable of injecting some pace is also a factor, but the biggest is the absence of desire/drive due to winning PLs year in and year out. They are just not as hungry anymore, Gundogan talked about this several days ago.

It's a reality United, Chelsea, City, and PSG, are the richest clubs. United probably spent the most in the last 2-3 years. Them and Chelsea. Easily.

Hilarious you guys try to make it sound as if Ten Hag took over Aston Villa. :rofl1:

We definitely didn't have better players than Man UTD when xavi took over, zero percent chance.

We just spent our money better, Torres excluded & had a few players come through.

Inferior players.

They spent 400m in the last 2 years, not to mention before that. He's a top manager it seems, but he has a super expensive team.

I don't see Utd have Fifa the best player, no golden boy. Barca have Fifa the best, two golden boys. So on paper, Barca have better players.

Pep not winning CL in 10 years of spending and good to great quality squads post Barca needs to be discussed more.

He is on the losing end (for various reasons including self-sabotage) of the biggest ties far too often.

Spent badly..

And wil say again he has Utd playing better football with Wan Bissaka RB, Shaw CB, Fred CM and Martial CF.

That is before see how much he has improved likes of Varane, Bruno and Rashford since last season.

All excuses for Xavi as usual.

City were lucky not be losing in the first half too, regardless of possession United had 2 or 3 good chances then.

What they gained in Haalands goals, they've lost in having one less player being able to play between the lines and leave so much space when the opposition counter attacks.

Called that since last summer
Let's wait and see a few more 'tough' games of City, especially in CL
But if it's confirmed again there, it's simply true

Ten Hag has United looking like a top team again after half a season of management.

Meanwhile people argue how Xavi needs another 3 seasons and 200m to get us past the CL group stage.

The truth is, if the manager is the right man for the job, it will show quickly on the pitch in results but above all performance. United have already taken huge steps forward in half a season.

CR7 being a cancer to any team with ambitions of being a serious team in the last 4-5 years needs to be talked about also

He ruined Juve and ManU almost

Wan Bissaka, Shaw, Fred, Martial, Malacia, McTominay for a time... He took over/currently has a pretty average top6 squad in truth and would take some true delusion to take their squad over ours.

Even some of our backups are better than players they start on the field.
