Can understand Caicedo wanting to move. Man is on 5k per week, came from a very poor background. Want to get to a top team and big money as soon as possible.

This Brighton team is brilliant. Arsenal vibes from last year.

If only De Zerbi could keep this team together for another year, they'd definitely get top 4 next year.

De Zerbi was really highly rated in Italy and was even linked to us as a future manager. Him going to Shakhtar was surprising given all the hype about him. Not entirely shocking Brighton are doing well under him although Potter deserves a lot of credit for laying down the foundation.

The only thing I know is that De Zerbi SHOULD be Barca coach come summer

He is one of the best from the options available (Arteta, ETH for instance are NOT available) that fit our football

There is pressure at every top flight club.

Being in EPL with money to spend and in a place where board back them to the hilt.

Barca.. too political, money issues, board treating coaches and players like shit too often, instant success expected and wouldnt be given full reign over squad where players are too close to those above.

Isnt some top job coached will be lining up for when in good EPL jobs and could wait and progress in that league to get a better one.

Talking about Brighton and Barca though... I'm not entirely convinced Barca are better than Brighton right now :lol:

He'd leave Brighton instantly for Barca if we were looking for a new manager in the summer.

Just the usual JamDav stuff about how no player or manager would leave their EPL club for Barca.

Plenty players would leave EPL for Barca.
