Zlatan Ibrahimovic tells crazy Man Utd story: 🗣️ “One day I was in the hotel with the team before a game. I got thirsty so I opened the mini-bar and had a fruit juice. We played and then went home.

"Time went by & my pay slip arrives. I realise they've taken a pound off my monthly wage. I call the manager: ‘Excuse me, why have they taken a pound off my salary.’ He replies: ‘It was the fruit juice from the mini-bar.’ ‘Are you kidding, seriously?’ ‘No, I'm not. Here, if you order something you have to pay for it.’

"Sure, but I didn't go to the hotel on my own accord. I wasn't on holiday. It was my work place. I was there for Man Utd. If I have to play and I'm thirsty, I have to drink. I can't go on the pitch dehydrated.

“Can you believe it? A quid? Something like that would never happen in Italy. These are the details that make a difference and earn the respect of the players.”
Wow what a crazy story man

Unbelievable story. Can't believe Zlatan drank a fruit juice and was too stingy to pay for it.

Mido (former Egyptian failed wonder boy) actually said something like that. he talked about he was surprised that the price of his shirt was deducted of his salary when he exchanged them, he was speaking about his time in Spurs.
Considering he also played in Ajax, Liga, Ligue 1, Calcio before making the jump in EPL, I assume such things was only happening in there, at least it was like that.

True, Havertz is one of the worst footballers to ever manage two big money moves and be an international.

Rice and Timber are top signings though. I think Arsenal could compete, Liverpool will be better but ultimately City will win.

I don’t see that changing until Pep goes.

Havertz will fly under Arteta.
Misused by most of his coaches at Chelsea. He is not a CF.

Arsenal are 2 levels above with these players slotting right into their strarting XI.
City will find it much harder to retain EPL title compared to last season.
Arsenal right now reminds me of Liverpool around 2019, the summer just before winning it.

Of course, Pep is the GOAT and I will not be surprised if he fights complacency and finds a new way to make City a well-oiled machine again.
