This one is on Emery. Shades of Barca vs PSG. got a lot of our players missing tonight and we’
Emery should reacted sooner but we are missing Cash, Torres, Kamara and Tielemans who were all mainstays under our good run.
Likes of Dendoncker and Ramsey is a big drop.

Plus we then have to move Konsa to RB without Cash.

Reality is our squad when injuries hit, isn’t great.
Especially with Buendia and Mings out all season.

Imagine a team be so good against current Man United that Lenglet has the most passes in the match on your side

True but in these circumstances you don't play a high-line at 2-0 up vs United. Just sit deeper and defend organized + counter-attacks. It's nice that you try to build from the back and keep possession, but by doing this you gave United so many easy chances on a silver platter.

I agree 100%, the high line was suicide and he made changes too late. Our worst performance under him tonight and Friday wasn't much better albeit Sheff United were rubbish so we didn't get punished for it.

We've also had good fortune with being able to field our best XI most weeks but now the injuries and suspensions are creeping in, the performances are dropping. In a way, it would be better if we get Europa league and bolster the squad because if we do manage to repeat the first half of the season, we risk a newcastle where we really don't have the quality in depth to cope with it.

Think he read United wrong, or got overconfident in his team's ability to resist high-press situations.

United are still dangerous in quick transitions, because they have players with huge pace in the team that can attack spaces great.

United couldn't believe that they got to play such an open game at 0-2 down.

I didn't watch, how the f did a quality side like Aston Villa lose with a 2 goal lead against a midtable side like United?
