Dortmund are not an elite club. Liverpool kind of returned to the elite level under Klopp. But from an aura/politics perspective I feel Liverpool is not on the same level as clubs like Barca, Real, Man Utd, Juve, Bayern.

He would have been sacked at Barca, Real, Bayern etc if he didn't win anything in his first three seasons. Most probably wouldn't get beyond his second season.

Also, his trophy haul in 8 seasons at Liverpool isn't that impressive, for an elite level club. Barca meltdown doesn't occur and he's without a CL trophy. The only league title he won during covid.

Not saying the man isn't good, but he clearly had less pressure at Liverpool than he would have had at any other elite club.
