The problem is that expectations were heightened earlier in the season without proper evidence
Yes, Liverpool found themselves sitting on the top of the table for most days, but if you look at their games
they were not stable AT ALL
and that comes down to the following two: 1) very shaky at the back, were conceding sitters even to much inferior sides, 2) attackers super wasteful. Nunez the most, but the rest as well

The way I see it, this is a new team, so many new players this summer. It was expected not to be able to win the league. Klopp IMO should have stayed at least one more season. He overreacted, as he thought this team is ready for titles.
Well, they are not YEt, Arsenal for example are far ahead in their development
We exceeded expectations so easily at the start of the season that we thought we'll squeeze everything we had for Klopp's farewell season and win atleast 2 trophies. Salah, Diaz and Nunez have been horrendous when it mattered the most.

Klopp has made some bizarre calls with his team selection and didn't pick his starting 11 according to the schedule. Quansah is error-prone and he should have used Konate for the big games instead of the insignificant games.

Edwards rejoined Liverpool a couple of months ago.
Not only an idiot, but not even updated LOL
 Aren't you the one foaming about how he got Klopp and the core group of players (VVD, Salah, Mane, Alisson etc. etc.)?

Well the likes of Klopp, VVD and Salah are bottlers

Any way you cut it, your bf/father is a loser.

Already waiting for receipts for his illustrious career in tech...

From what I see, the dude is a nobody who worked at Portsmouth and Spurs lmao
Working for Spurs and Liverpool means he is a nobody? Spurs is a top 20 club in the world currently with a world class infrastructure and a great club for any young analyst/SD to work in.

A simpleton who earns 100 dollars a year calling Edwards a "nobody". The audacity of this broke numpty!

When you think that City has basically just taken the Barcelona model to a large extent and our key executives and has turn the EPL into the budesliga, it makes you wonder what could have been.

If the great Joan laporta and his team were in charge for life

Even rosell as a VP wasn't terrible.
Envy, greed and ambition of individuals ruined FC Barcelona. If they acted for the cause of this club things would have been much different. Rosell taking the reigns in the summer 2010 was the beginning of the end. Barto just took it to megalomania levels I doubt anyone could match in the next few decades.
