Ange furious at post-match presser after City about the mentality of his club

True winner, hired by a loser mentality club with plastic fans who prefer to lose so that Arsenal don't win the league.
He has tons of work to do to change that mentality. Pretty similar to Klopp's work to change Liverpool's mentality when he came in

Good luck to him.

If Conte couldn't do it then he doesn't have a chance unless Tottenham change as a club.

Yup, and the first season at City (16/17) doesn't really count, he was still getting to know squad and league

In essence he only lost a league to Mourinho in 2012 and to Klopp in 2020

Unreal record and manager

Even in Pep's first season, his team was the best in the league in every advanced statistic. It’s just that Conte’s Chelsea overperformed that season. They scored points even in games they should have lost.

Yeah, I'm not the one who comprehends the sport while you thought Spain and Germany were >>>> Argentina at WC 2022 among numerous other clown takes

Arsenal had the same loser mentality and were an inexhaustible source of memes on the internet, until Arteta changed things. A top class manager + huge funds can change everything in the current football scenery.

Yeah, but that depends on Tottenham being willing to spend some money.

They seem content getting to top six.

They have been. Spending top top money lately. They aspire for more imo, probably ambitioned by Arsenal's rise to the top. Tottenham made a CL final not long ago. Arsenal came from farther behind them and are now effectively running the league with City at the top.

Ange needs more time though. Can't do it in 1-2 seasons even if you have the required funds. It's a gradual process. First season acclimatisation to the league and EPL style, next season maybe a minor Cup title like a Carabao or something, then top 4 and in 3-4 seasons you can challenge for the title if you are good enough.

Ange first season at Spurs was much better than Arteta who took 2.5 seasons to get true consistency so he definitely deserves time.
