@Birdy do you agree with this assessment?
Have made my assessment a few times here
1st season was great,
2nd was bad, and didn't deserve the European spot they got from Newcastle at the end

BUT, the responsibility lies for the shambles UTD is under Glazers. NO Sdepartment whatsoever, no planning, no vision, NOTHING
If Manu sells the dead wood case and eriksen, buys 2-3 good players, Martinez stays injury-free then they will play for title but current squad is way too bad to compete against Arsenal and City, even Pep would struggle with that team

hope neves will go there, Ten hag seems to be the right man for the young guys
They have many holes in their squad too: need at least 2 more top CBs, need at least 2 starting RB and LB, need new DM, possibly another striker for depth as well

They were the only idiots to buy finished products in Casemiro and Varane from Perez.
Perez's strategy of 'selling as high as possible the ones to decline' ONLY worked because there were some idiots like the Glazers willing to buy on that price

True. On top of money you also need to hire the best professionals to make that money provide results. That's the point. United have the money, it's management that they suck at.

That's it, not willing to invest more than 10 mins with you.

Right,
so start with putting the blame on those that did not hire the best professionals, that were running their club for years without sporting department to begin with.
Instead of always demanding 'titles' like a 5 yr old w/o realizing what EPL is in the first place

The funnier part Professor Birdboi doesn't acknowledge is how De Zerbi is about to end up at Marseille because no one else would take him on his demands

Lmao

What has this to do with football analysis?
If this is true, and the reason he is going there is because of his high demands, then De Zerbi is all to blame for that

El Gato

Villarato!
Ronaldo take is mostly irrelevant because a) said everything people already knew about, and b) he exaggerates and bigs things up on the daily without acknowledging the good things people do to improve said problems i.e. petty spat with ETH over 'lack of respect' in trying to at the very least decrease his role in team when in reality he was not helping the side and it was a rational move.

United were the same shambles for a long time.
In some ways it's those whose opinions have a consistent track record of credence that should be paid attention to, not a guy who mostly has terrible takes and just happened to state the obvious
That said, they are very slowly turning a corner since Woodward left. Patchy as it remains

Horatio

You're welcome
Ngl, the bald look suits him. Mogs Arne Slot.

Heard Slot is naturally very charismatic just like Klopp. Is it true?
Slot charismatic? A little. Definitely not Klopp levels. He’s pretty stoic and relaxed(Dutch lol). Not as boring as van Bronckhorst. Will crack a joke or two once things go his way obviously. But I think he’s very likable and respectful. But to be seen if he changes his attitude within English League.

Remember his altercation with Mourinho? Or better put, Mourinho took a lot of issue with words taken out of context. Slot handled it like champ
