Not writing him off, but in what world do you spend so much money on a young striker like him with those problems and then go out and spend another 40m on another young striker in Zirkzee?

What is the thought process? If you are going to let him develop then sign an established striker he can sit behind.

Zirkzee is not really a striker, the position he played in today is the best for him and think he'll succeed there.

Think probably tiredness played a role too. Spurs brought some quality off the bench, United only had kids there.

Zirkzee is not really a striker, the position he played in today is the best for him and think he'll succeed there.

He's better playing off a striker, but while he looks good technically he's too slow and heavy to succeed long-term there imo.

Let's see though. I won't be surprised if both Højlund and Zirkzee are gone to another club within two years.

Tottenham were more aggressive 2nd half and pushed United back. United reverted to playing on counter which created those chances. But buildup first half looked inspired with Zirkzee helping out playing deeper.
