We look similar to Madrid currently.

Getting results without looking too impressive.

Barca look better but way more vulnerable.
Think both look better atm but...

1) There is a chance one or both get knocked out before they would play Liverpool
2) Liverpool has title pretty much in the bag while Barca and Madrid have close title races plus 1-2 domestic cup matches
3) Anfield

People always say this and then Madrid win the tie
It's possible they would because they have a great GK, just like Liverpool. But they would surely get outplayed by a massive margin and would need a lot of luck. That means they are not any better than Pool.

And if you look at league results Madrid is not any better than Pool either. They have 1 win in last 5 or 6 league games.

I think Liverpool are a more comfortable opponent for us. We can take the ball away from them. Against PSG it will be more difficult to control the ball, given that they have Vitinho, Neves.

By the way, Slot told the players before the game that they will have to be patient, because they will be without the ball, that is, he was well aware that his players are not able to win the center of the field against PSG.

PSG also have much better fullbacks - their fullbacks are good both offensively and defensively.

They also have fast central defenders, so they are very brave to go up and leave their defenders 1 vs 1 against opposing strikers.

But it's worth noting that Liverpool's central defenders are also fast.

Now 11th in the world and 3rd in UK. Might have been higher had I had the guts to back Forest to win rather than going for the draw (I think most went City win)

14 points behind world leader, though. Not insurmountable but a big gap. I need to play out of my fucking skin to catch him.

Putting Man U win today would be huge step in that direction

Today I am going for Chelsea, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Newcastle to all win. Three away wins. Bournemouth to win at Spurs might be eye-raising but Bournemouth are a good team and Spurs have struggled a lot so I reckon they can manage it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do, tbh. They have a habit of pulling an upset out. However, I think most will go with Arsenal. It is time to play safe and solidify my position rather than take too many risks.
