I honestly can't get through most EPL games this season its been that underwhelming.
The only games I truly enjoy are Man United games, because I despise them and it's funny seeing them struggle.

I do like games between clubs I like though, like Fulham , Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Wolves etc.

Whether it’s a piss poor league is irrelevant.
I am not speaking to the strength of league compared to others.

It’s about the competitiveness in said league between their domestic teams.

All teams rich or poor have adequate facilities and privy to all the science data.
Of course its relevant if you are trying to say the league is more difficult to win this season.

The streets are talking lol

The EPL has better facilities and resources than other league's ground breaking news since 2002 😂.

If you ever doubt the strength of the PL, just look at Villa's squad.

A non-big 6 club has players like Tielemans, Martinez, Rashford, Asensio, Malen, Rodgers, etc.

3 of the big 6 have shat the bed this season: Citeh, Yanited and Spurs.

The rest of the league has done well.
United and Spurs aren't the 'big 6' anymore (hate that term anyway). The truth is there's loads of teams better than them in the league, and likely will be next season too. That's just a 'big club' dick swinging contest, that term.

didn’t claim otherwise lol.

nevermind

All teams have resources and data science.

That's always better the case in comparison to other leagues, so that doesn't make it more difficult, especially this season where all those teams having better resources has let to such a poor level of football generally.

A few teams playing well but the general level this season is below previous seasons

There's lots of good players dotted around mid-table teams in PL.

However, the question is, are there good players at mid-table clubs in other leagues too? As good as these players? Or do we think PL players are better because they're higher profile and we are more exposed to them, and watch them every week as it's the most popular league?

it's a fair question.

Big 6 is nonsense

If relegation sides were a little better Spurs and United would be fighting for their lives now
Big 6 is related to the size of the clubs. I'm pretty sure if you add up the points totals of the last 10 PL seasons, the top 6 would be the big 6.

This is not to say that big teams won't underperform or embarrass themselves from time to time. I'm a Liverpool fan. Trust me I know what it feels like when a big club constantly underperforms and disappoints its fans lol.

also if you think premier league has fallen in comparison to other leagues that could still mean premier is more difficult and even stronger than it were. Could just be other leagues caught up or surpassed.

I don't think that's the case. I can't remember who posted it (think it was jamrock) earlier, but someone said that La Liga big three are faltering too, and Inter don't seem as good as they were either. Bayern don't appear to be as good as they were during prime Pep and Klopp days either.

Maybe the middle of these leagues is stronger now, though.

It's sad to say, but I think European football in general has declined in recent years. Which is what makes it even funnier when modern fans with recency bias drone on annoyingly about how football gets better over time.

Well yeah it variates from season to season. Usually at least 2 of the "big 6" are having a very underwhelming season and some smaller clubs take their place. But this season it's more, only Liverpool generally played great football and achieved something others fucked it up. Arsenal might maybe beat Madrid and go deep in CL but that's not much of an achievement.

I dont think it has declined. If you speak in terms of amusement? Then yes.

But I just think the landscape is flattening. So it’s harder to see dominating sides.
Then add do that the more scientific approach has made things more mechanical what fabregas also addresses.

So in amusement sure, but strength not sure.
