You know ball.
Cheers haha. You too.

Finished 1st in UK in Serie A and Europa League in same season a couple of seasons ago too.

Let's be honest though, a lot of it is luck. For instance, say I predict 1-1 in a game, and it is 1-1 and someone smacks the post in the last minute - that could go from an exact to a wrong if it's a foot inside the post, and costs me three points. Can be fine margins. But yeah, overall predictor games are pretty fun. I prefer them to fantasy games now because they take less time and seem more fun (though I play fantasy games here and there too).

I figured I might as well show my 'career' on Superbru so far. Overall it's pretty good with some high percentile finishes - though I have had some mediocre and poor ones too. Some of these I gave up early (eg Women's World Cup) but others like the World Cup in Qatar I had an absolute nightmare. I am also struggling in Ligue 1, Serie A and EL this season (though the change in percentile in the same league from season to season shows it can be about luck too).

I do post my predictions fairly often so sorry if that bores anyone.

Overall, though, I am fairly pleased with how it's been going since i started playing. Sometimes I will miss a pick but in general I am very good at making sure I don't miss the deadlines, as there's a homepage with all the required predictions for that day and the two or so weeks ahead.

@Temptation

This is it in case you don't know anything about it. Gonna go to the 1.10 pm showing (though that really starts at about 1.40 pm post trailers). It's only £5 admission on a Monday too with my Insider card.

I was planning to watch it. Heard great things about this. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

Looking forward to your review tonight. Enjoy the experience.

Thanks. Yeah I enjoyed the first as well, but this is apparently a step up. It's also quite cool for me as it (and I might be wrong) seems to lean into the themes of pressures of fame and stuff, and as you know I have mentioned celebrity culture a fair bit on here.

I am gonna go down and watch it certainly. I was gonna watch the first to refresh my memory but I remember most of it so likely just watch it after I have seen this i.e. either tonight or tomorrow or something. However, if I am gonna go, I have to do some chores first. Hence, I am gonna head offline now as last night's dishes haven't been washed yet and the stairs need hoovered too.

Tonight I will watch the video you posted and offer some thoughts on the film. Speak soon m8 and thanks for the above comments on my prediction game as well.

Jamie Carragher has suggested Mikel Arteta is turning into the next Jose Mourinho rather than the new Pep Guardiola.

Thought this was an interesting quote. What do you think about this? @Temptation

Btw if he says this about Arteta, just imagine if/when Xavi arrives.

My OCD is giving me issues as Emery's and Erik's threads are in 'club football' and Slot's is in the 'Premier League' subsection.

Yeah. Agree with Jamie here. Arsenal are much more defensive and physical these days. Trying to master the dark arts.

Xavi's style is more like David Moyes, but without Fellaini. Useless possession followed by spamming crosses.
