Liverpool giving 2014-15 chelsea vibes. Efficient machine for the first half and a bit of the season, poor r16 exit to PSG, and then unimpressive end to the league season.

Hope it doesn't carry over into next season.

Just saw Manu highlights vs City, they were better than i thought they would be. But they lack a real striker, a beast like Van Nistelrooy was, a replacement for striker should be their first goal in summer, with Hoj/Zirk they wont play for cl places. They could rather use Bruno as striker.

van Nistelrooy frauding
It was so obvious he'd be absolutely useless, just like all of Ferguson's ex players when they become coaches. Ferguson was poor tactically and couldn't pass stuff like that on. Look at how Keane, Ole and Neville talk 'passion, this is Man United, where is the desire?'. Imagine being a player and having your coach talk that dinosaur bollocks? That stuff is important but so is understanding the game tactically. I bet Ruud is the same, talks about passion and that's it.

These ex United players are all poor coaches, poor pundits, and absolute dinosaurs.

Arteta cooking Madrid with no Gabriel and no attackers in form shows what a top coach he is. If not for injuries and refs screwing them, they'd be right on Liverpool's coattails for the title.

90 minutes at the Bernabeu are very long so tie not over tho.

Thought when this got bumped that it will be about LE going through the EPL clubs this knockout, kicking gum and chewing ass.

And he's all out of ass.

PSG looking really good. Don't think Villa can turn around 2 goal diff. Shouldn't have conceded that goal last minute.

They will give a go, but that last minute goal throws a spanner into the efforts.

Despite the result, were better than Liverpool in Paris though- somehow. So there's that.

At 2-1 they could still play their game and score one off a quick transition somehow.
But now they'll be forced to push forward and PSG likely kills the tie by scoring off a quick counter.
That last goal really fucked it up completely for them

That Chelsea team was full of such characters.

Amazing team that had a big part in making the PL global.
The spine of that team was very strong.

Cech Terry Lampard Drogba

Terry is underrated as a leader and a CB. He has been in the FIFA World 11 many times. Brilliant CB.

Prime Mourinho had amazing presence and leadership. Took the PL by storm.

Chelsea have a huge fanbase in Africa.
