Yesterday Benfica played against Belenenses hit by a covid outbreak.

Belenenses started the game with 9 players, one of the outfield players were a GK and most were from the reserve team.

7-0 Benfica in the first half. In the second half only 7 Belenenses players came out, and as soon as the game started on of them sat down 'injured', thus forcing the ref to end the game.

Yeah, read that as well. Belenenses should have called some youngsters if rules allow it, I don't know. Otherwise the game should have been postponed, playing 9 vs. 11 is a circus.

Yeah and they technically played in the second half, even if it was just the kickoff, meaning they won't have to refund the fans. Definitely some thought behind that.

Benfica - Sporting in 15 minutes. Sporting can clinch the title with a win but a draw plays in their favor too as they would stay ahead on h2h. Sporting also have a bit easier opponent in last round (Vitoria Guimaraes at home) while Benfica plays Braga away who are having a great season and still competing for 3rd place with Porto.

Also, there will be another Derby in two weeks in Cup final.
