Decent boost for PSG, can he adapt to french football?
I hope he fails. Never liked him.
French football "in clubs" is dead since Bosman rule and the football business.
The question is : can he win the Champions League ?
IMO, he has only 2 years, no 3 like Blanc. He have to go to semi-finals this season and win the second one. Maximum pressure on him.
Only 2 years? Isn't that a bit of a rush?

It's modern football. No time. 3 years for Blanc were good for him, but changed nothing for the club. This club costs 500 M€/year to the Qatar state, 40% directly in the French state pockets thanks to huge tax here in France.

But if psg stick to that philosophy, you guys might never reach the objective. You need to give time to a coach. CL isn't that easy to win, unless you get "lucky" with the draw.
Perez is proud of you guys
Let's see who does better than blanc at crushing the league, stealing all domestic cups, and developing an attractive and effective style of play.
The first coach that does none of these things but reaches a lucky CL final will be rated higher.
How will you create a team, without a coach? The coach is important. Tata Martino's tenure here at Barcelona is proof of that.We will reach our objective, sooner or later, Chelsea did shit during long years spent more than 1 billion € and won the Champions League. They did shit during numerous Mercatos in their first years compared to us. Champion League needs time, but look about the management, the year Chelsea won the Champion League they have a no-name in coach since 6 months.
You have to create a TEAM, with strong personalities and yes, THIS takes time. The coach is not so important IMO.
