So for your next home game you'll have 2 stands closed as punishment from UEFA. Did I get that right?

Sectors 104 and 105

But PSG is appealing the decision because it was unclear why they did get that punishment with no explanation whatsoever via the text they recieved.

PSG's lawyers think it can be broken because 1/ it was unclear, 2/ they didn't take in account some testimonies for god knows what reason, and thus will appeal the decision.

So PSG have found a nice way to circumvent the FFP. They're going to sign Aurier on a 1y-loan with an option to buy afterwards (http://www.psgcommunity.fr/transfert-mercato-psg/transfert-psg-ce-sera-pret-serge-aurier/27621). Apparently they will do a similar construction for Di Maria.

Dirty, but clever.

Yup, and as i said in the Aurier thread, sport lawyers here in France say it's 100% risk free since everything is in agreement with the FFP.

Platini will have to create a new rule to avoid that kind of deals, but it won't affect current deals that are made in agreements with the current rules.

So platini is fucked for now :party1:

But PSG will be fucked next year? ;) Or will your transfer-budget next summer be higher than 60M euro again?
Next year 60M allowed transfer is burnt now if we get Di Maria with a one year loan.

That said:

- As you said, sanctions can change next year.
- But while they can change for something good, they can also change for the worse and disable the possibilities of future transfers like this one.

If they don't create a new rule that forbid "loaned" players, then nothing can stop us to do the same kind of deal on another player next year.

Remember, tho, that it doesn't change the fact that we need to sell one player if Di Maria joins us. Even by loan, we have to pay his salary, and we need to sell a player if we do so.

But today medias here say it's not Cavani that will leave if we get Di Maria, it should be Lavezzi.

Lavezzi has an enormous wage and doesn't want to stay if we recruit Di Maria because it would mean for him to be benched for good.

Ah, I didn't know FFP also put a limitation on salaries, I thought it was only about the 60M-transferfee.

Thiago Silva is on a huge wage too, isn't he? ;)

Yup, but there's no way PSG will sell its captain even if he's in a very bad mentally state right now after the WC

The only players with big salaries that could leave are Cavani, Pastore or Lavezzi.

I would be ok with the last 2. I would be sad if we sell cavani.

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
Couldn't they just make all kinds of ambiguous sponsorship deals in Qatar to get around FFP? Before next summer of course.

Yes, and not ambiguous.

We're rumored to sign big contracts with asian and US companies later this year.

But that would only solve the transfer fees problem.

For this season and the next, we're restricted on our wage bill.

We have to stay around the same as last season (not necessarily exactly the same but around it, so yeah 2-3M more won't make us banned from the CL? sorry for those that hate us :) )

We can't buy Messi unless we sell Ibra+TS+Cavani, just to cover Messi's salary  (that's just an example but i think it shows how we are restricted)

I am a bit confused. Are you happy that your club will circumvent the spirit of FFP? I understand it is "legal", but is being able to utilise the vast sums of wealth at their disposal, no matter how unfair it may be, in order to win the thing that really matters?

And if so, I hope you don't continue to get upset at those who make comments on the manner in which the current PSG were built or how they operate.

Good first half against Nice. Marquinhos even scored one goal :)

I already wrote about a lot here why i don't approve of this FFP. I won't do it again. Either way, FFP or not, that won't stop people that already hate PSG to continue to hate it because at the very end, it is owned by Qatar. So sorry, but no, i won't run into that wall again where whatever i say is seen as bad because people who hate PSG will hate it no matter what.

Nice match. PSG proved again that we have no talented youth at all. They are all average if not horrible.

Beside that:

- Pastore did good
- Ibra did very average
- Marquinhos did good (i wonder if the spanish medias will write an article this time since they were quick to say he did crap last week :) )

Finally, we're finally getting rid of Jallet and we get a super promising RB for the next 5 years.

So happy.
