Yeah, I wonder why.
Because they thought 120M Griezmann would fit greatly there

Shoving him on the wing when Suarez was fit proved that that wasn't the case. Griezmann was bought simply because our board only cared about the big signings and marketing revenue.
It was like what a couple of weeks ago he said the same shit in regards to Pique, Busi, Alba, Messi, etc that they are playing based on what they accomplished and not based on how they're performing now and he's just reconfirming it with Suarez.
The funny part is you have some fans in this fanbase that agrees with Seiten in this regard. They don't give a shit about the likes of the newer guys or guys like Alba, Rakitic, etc. but the likes of Busi, Pique, Suarez Messi, etc are sacred cows that shouldn't be criticized.
There are still people who believe Pique is carrying the backline alone. Even though Lenglet and Semedo have stepped up quite a bit and Mats has been a wall for the most part, and without Busi are Midfield is shit even though he had many questionable to downright terrible performances himself this season and the last as well.
We don't even need to talk about Suarez, him scoring a goal out of his ass once in awhile shouldn't be used as an excuse to ignore his horrible self these days.
13/14(at the height of La Liga prominence): 87 points
16/17: 90 points
17/18(GOAT LA LIGA SEASON THANKS TO THE GOAT,EV): 93 points
18/19(EV WON BACK TO BACK,WHAT A CHAMP): 87 points
19/20(POOR EV GOT FIRED): 40 points at the middle of the season,on pace for a staggering 80 points tally
Sure Messi is to blame for 2012.But both Inter and Chelsea were really "lucky" by EV cultists' standards to avoid conceding 4 goals Or maybe they played well enough not only to avoid being humiliated, but also to protect their lead and qualify to the final.
Lol, as if conditions now are the same as when EV came. Situation at the club is like a cancer that spread and spread since Lucho left, who happens to be the last manager with real authority and leadership since Pep, the only one since Pep if we're being honest. Only one who stood against some veterans, benched Pique, had the guts to sub key players during games, benched Alba, benched Rakitic, even when the alternative was Andre Gomes.
Setien is not better, but the worshiping of Valverde is downright hilarious. Also, during EV we had the worst half a season in more than a decade. Guy imploded this season and got the team to a state were we were being outplayed by teams like Levante and Granada. The failure of this season is as much EV's as is Setien's.
EV was lucky enough to arrive at a point when the veterans were still turning 30 and not as bad and as old as they are now. There's a big difference between a 29-30 year old player, and a 32-33 year old player. And the veterans weren't as undisciplined as they are now. If EV would come now, he'd be fucking dead and sacked in 6 months like Setien was. Only hope of this team is to promote new players, and we all know EV was totally crap at that.
You can think short term and play 29-30 year old veterans, and maybe do fine short term and win some titles. Try doing that with 33 years old key players at the proposition is different.
Only some illogical people can think that whatever worked 3 years ago can also work now. Time moves on. Whatever opportunities you had in the past and didn't have the guts to implement then, can be harder and harder to implement as the problem gets deeper and more rooted into the team. This is blatantly obvious.
To give a BBZ like example, the ship was leaking under EV, hell, it was leaking since we got blown away by Juve and PSG in CL, 0-7 in 2 games away. We needed to fix that. But we didn't. We patched things up a bit, and kept afloat for a couple of years. But, eventually, every bad situation left unresolved, gets to the point where plugging the wholes does no longer cut it. That's the situation we find ourselves in.
He's done!

Pique is carrying the backline tho.
Pique, Messi, are the two seniors who actually still perform at a world class level for the club week in week out.
Rest are bums except maybe Busquets and Alba
Lol he's the biggest bum of the lot
