He is that someone who gets injured, though.

Squad needs revamping as it is and players who are always injured don't help the squad.
Exactly. I feel sorry for him but we have to move on. Under lucho he is nothing special but still one of the best options for thé RW spot, that's thé scariest part..

The Alcantara brothers are very talented but they are so prone to injuries. We never can get a full season out of either him or Thiago without them having at least one injury. Such a shame because they are skilled and confident players.

Cope says he considers leaving Barca and the Club want atleast 30M for him.

tbf his market value should be around 20-25M so demanding 30M initially isn't bad. Will depend on the market for him tbh, need at least one big/wealthy club interested to get such fee for him

Only thing that is realistic is how much the market want to pay.

Rafinha is a multi-role player who's neither a full-fledged midfielder or winger. He's also quite injury prone. I would be surprised if a team outside of Spain is willing to pay 30m for him. A team within Spain could not afford that, but English or Italian teams paying that much? I don't see it.

Gomes was/is a starter for Portugal and had Juventus and Real Madrid vying for him too. That's why he cost 35m.

Jese had a lot of hype and a lot of people thought he could become a superstar regardless of his knee surgery based on what he showed before getting injured.

Narrative sells.

Rafinha got nothing of that, and I surely hope he doesn't leave to join a Chinese club either.

He is worth at least 35 mil in todays inflated market. Gomes.... GOMES was sold for more than him.

Gomes was wanted by Barca and Real and they rightly or wrongly seen a lot of potential in him.

Rafinha just looks like a fairly average player that would be probably by deemed not good enough by top level sides.

Think max could expect for him would be about 20m but who knows there is a lot of money in EPL and maybe a couple of them will really fancy him.

Well Liverpool and Tottenham spend around 30-40M on Players that got just relegated with Newcastle in the summer......I think the english Teams would be the most likly to spend such an amount.

Sissoko was one of France's best players in the Euro, and certainly the best in the final. Such performances in major tournaments tend to cloud certain clubs' judgement.

If Rafinha want to leave, then sure, I hope we get 30-40m for him.

As long as we don't burn all the 40m on Vitolo :mou:

How many clubs can pay 35M at the current inflated market? Specially someone like Rafinha
In spain probably only Barca/RM/AM currently. In Italy Juve,Napoli may be Milan clubs and Roma if it is the right player. doubt any would splash such money on Rafinha
Then Bayern,PSG and may be Monaco?
EPL has several clubs, probably best bet but then again I can't see many clubs fancy signing him for such high money.
People keep focusing on "inflated" part, but you still need to focus on the "market" part first. And even more important to realize it is very skewed market.
If one of the wealthy teams is interested in your player you are well positioned to get a lot of money, but if you aren't that lucky it is a huge discount from there
