No he did, Brazil doesn't generally take kindly to talents that didn't start their development in the country

I don't think Rafa can play for Spain anymore because, if I'm not mistaken, he was actually asked to make a choice and he went for Brazil.

Typical for the South American coaches. They don't play the young talents that play in Europe. It was the same story with Messi a few years ago in this tournament. He was Argentina's best player, but started the first match on the bench. Finally, he played all rest matches and became the best player of the tournament.

Rafinha's qualities are way better than all the other players in their U20 squad. It will take some time to open the eyes of the Brazilian coach.

Rafa had a great impact on the game. Gave their midfield some qualities they were lacking without him. Came back from 2-0 to 2-2 with Rafa on the midfield.
