Seth on his way to a huge pay rise and is gonna be solid starter in the league (or a 6th man of the year contender)
So,I would be content with having Rafinha for Seth role.
I understand the worries about his injuries, but he had only 2 major injuries in his career and one of them was a result of brutal tackle.

Think the problem is that Rafinha himself want to leave, to pose a challenge for a place in Brazil's squad for the WC.

If he wants to leave we can't stop that for sure, and if we gonna get solid offerfor him I would sell too. That said I still don't think we should trying to 'get rid' of him.

Would sell him for 25-30m if it meant raising money for signing two midfielders rather than one.

Was just replying to the Thiago comparison.

With all due respect to Rafinha, he's not close to Thiago in talent and will never reach a similar level or become a starter, main man in the MF for a team of Bayern's stature.

As I said previously though. Arda and Gomes need to leave too if Rafinha is sold. Rumours Denis might stay and he alone is enough with Roberto also moving back to the MF.

Rafinha is nothing great and if he wants to leave and could get 30m would take it.

Think Gomes is the better player if comparing the two although didnt show it last season.

Rafinha has shown several times what Gomes has, it's a no contest. Although I don't rate Rafinha and think he's too injury prone to be worth our time. I'd take any offer exceeding 20m and not look back.

Dont agree. Think Gomes is the better player and Rafinha has not shown enough to be anything but a back up and not a particularly great one.

Even if not for injury dont think Rafinha is good enough and think Gomes is the better player although he has been poor last season.
